Description:
Beautiful alpine hike to the managed Oberen-Rossalpe. This hike shows us once again how beautiful nature is in the Tannheimer Tal. After the hike the wonderful Vilsalpsee lake invites you to splash around.
Directions:
We start from the parking lot at Vilsalpsee to the west shore of Vilsalpsee. Here the path already begins. We walk past the small hut of the so-called Weltlings Hütte. The path is now a little steeper but harmless. We ascend through a beautiful mixed forest and soon reach the Untere-Rossalpe which is, however, uncultivated. Now the path continues to the Oberen-Rossalpe. After a hearty stop, we follow the same path back to the starting point.
Tip:
Enjoy the wonderful alpine bread times on the upper Rossalpe.
Safety guidelines:
It should be noted that in mountaineering there is an increased risk of accidents and injuries. Despite careful route planning, a basic risk always remains. Tour preparation through endurance sports, appropriate technical training and further education as well as personal prudence reduces the danger of accidents and risks. However, please never forget that the weather in the mountains can change very quickly. Stay on the marked hiking trails.
Equipment:
The personal mountaineering equipment must be safe and serviceable and meet the relevant technical standards. Every hiker is recommended to obtain information about the planned tours from specialist alpine literature or on site.
